The story behind RAVN

One inbox. Too many problems.

Running a digital agency while managing clients across the globe meant living in my inbox. Every email was a context switch. Every notification, a distraction. I'd open my email client looking for one thing and find myself lost in a sea of features I'd never use.

The tools felt stuck between two extremes: bloated legacy software from the early 2000s, or minimalist apps that gave up on actually solving real problems.

I'm a developer. I live at the keyboard. I work fast. I think fast. My tools needed to keep up.

So I started building something different.

RAVN was born from frustration and shaped by obsession.

It started simple: a composer that felt like Notion: clean, frictionless, alive. Auto-generated summaries so I could understand emails without reading them. A Kanban board where I could triage instead of drown. Keyboard shortcuts that actually made sense. And intelligent notifications that only bothered me when it actually mattered.

But the real opportunity came later.

We're entering an era where AI is becoming a utility, not a luxury. The ability to talk to your inbox (to ask questions, generate thoughtful responses, build custom workflows) shouldn't be a privilege of power users paying $30/month. It should be accessible to everyone.

That's the RAVN I'm building.

An email client that respects your time. Protects your privacy. Adapts to how you work. One that combines the speed of a power tool with the simplicity of a beautifully designed product.

And I'm just getting started.
